About Melissa

I am a newly graduated EMT student. I am certified in CPR and BLS. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I have my own car that is reliable with a clean driving record. I would describe my personality as loyal, empathetic, patient, and open-minded. Most people don't think patience is the most important skill for a child but they don't understand that kids are trying to navigate their own emotions and thoughts as they grow. I'd describe my personality as determined, open-minded, and empathetic. I enjoy working with kids because I love making people smile and laugh and a child's laughter heals the soul. In my spare time, I like to draw. I'm a very artistic person , I am always making handmade gifts and exploring new arts and crafts with kids. One thing you should know about me is I care for kids like if they were my own. Seeing how the world has become so dark and inhumane especially to children, I would go over and beyond to make sure the ones I care for, are safe and sound.
