About Melissa

Hello my name is Melissa. And I live in Franklin Virginia, I have been taking care of the elderly and households with pets for 9 years. I'm a CNA and an ex firefighter, I'm CPR certified and first aid certified. As an CAN I'm to assist patients with their daily activities. Some of my additional responsibilities such as administering medication and changing colostomy bags and dealing with sun downing and mental illness, also worked with feeding tubes and G tubes. As a CNA I will take Vital Signs, Laundry, Basic Life Support, AED Certificated, Communicating with patients with hearing, vision and speech loss, Applying and changing wraps and bandages, Assisting with toileting process, Dressing patients with physical challenges, Bathing and showering residents, Changing bed linens, while patient is in bed, Feeding, positioning and transferring patients, Providing dental care, Measuring and recording vital signs And also just being there for my patients.
