About Melissa

I am a very kind, dedicated and energetic woman, with a masters degree in clinical social work. I have over 10 years working in the field of mental health, working with people throughout the lifespan. Most recently, I worked with kids at an elementary school as a school-based therapist for one year. Some qualities of mine I bring into this work is my love for creativity, nature, play, and genuine human connection. In the 2+ years since I received my MSW, I have worked as an outpatient therapist for kids and adults, a coordinator of a partial hospitalization program for adults with severe mental health difficulties, and a clinician at a residential program for mothers and their children. I am educated in child development, mental health and psychology, mindfulness meditation, yoga, and art. I am able to help with homework, cooking, and light cleaning.
