About Melissa

I was a stay at home mom for 3 amazing kids who are now successful adults. I have been married for 32 years to my best friend! I have recently moved on from an office managers position at a small medical practice where, for 19 years, I enjoyed helping so many patients and became very fond of so many of them. I cared for both of my elderly parents for several years before their passing. I have a lot of patience and compassion especially for the elderly who sometimes are forgetful or need a little extra time to do an activity. I love to chat with people and hear the stories of the life they have lead, which I know is so very important for elderly people. I love to read interesting articles or stories to them or perhaps talk about some " happy news" stories I have come across. I am looking for part time positions where I can be a companion to an elderly person, help with light house work, prepare breakfast or lunch for them.
