About Melissa

Hello there! My name is Melissa (or you can call me Mel!) and I just graduated grad school for couple and family therapy. I am working as a therapist (T-LMFT) in town and I am LOVING it!! I am currently building my caseload and that can take a bit! Until I get a full caseload, I am hoping to get more experience working with children! Qualifications: I was a nanny as a teenager, so I've had some experience. I've worked directly with clients in a therapy setting using Filial and Child Centered Play Therapy. Ive also taken classes about parent child interaction and children psychology. I am educated in healthy child development and communication. A bit more about me: In my spare time, I like to hangout with my friends, do kickboxing, go on walks, draw, and shop! I'd describe my personality as warm, bubbly, and personable! I am always wanting to grow and learn more, so I am looking forward to this journey! :)
