About Melissa

I've been a nanny for almost 4 years now with a loving family in Lincoln, Nebraska. Before that I was a private caregiver in home for a man with dementia and his wife. I was with them 5 years. My past jobs have been running my own in home daycare for 8 years, working with mentally ill and drug dependent patients with Catholic Charities, and working at Mosaic with developmentally disabled adults. I enjoy loving and caring for people. I'm very patient and fun! I love to be creative with learning and crafts! I have a very laid back personality and communication is important to me. I enjoy staying busy and consider myself a hard worker. My nanny duties currently include getting the kids up and ready for school, activities, etc. Cleaning, organizing, food prep, meals, learning activities, craft time, play dates. Outings such as the zoo, library, pool, museums, gym, walking the dog, outdoor playtime, creative play, etc. I'm also really good at building blanket forts!
