About Melisa

I have worked as a teacher's aide in a private school for 6 school years. During that time, I have specialized in reading intervention. I have worked one-to-one with students or in small groups to improve phonics skills, sight word recognition, spelling, reading strategies, comprehension and writing skills. I enjoy getting to know students individually so that I can meet them where they are at and motivate them to grow. I love to laugh and have fun with my students but I also know how to get down to business. In my spare time I enjoy walking, reading, the Milwaukee Brewers and being with my family.
