About Melinda

I'm a 40-year-old woman with bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology and counseling. I have a passion for helping and ministering and education. Having taught college for 2 years, written more papers than I can count, I can help with high school English, and some math. I'd describe my personality as quirky, sarcastic, and compassionate. I like tutoring because I enjoy being a part of a creative process, customizing a learning plan and developing methods for helping kids learn. I'm looking for a job that enriches both me and the person or people I'm helping by tutoring or caring for. In my spare time, I like to cheer on my friends in volleyball and read.
