About Melinda

Hi my name is Melinda. I'm committed to helping those who need help with keeping their independence, because I may be in the same boat some day. No task is too big or too small. I truly enjoy spending time with the elderly and those with special needs. I'm a compassionate and caring individual who puts the needs of those I'm helping before my own. I have three grown children and two grandchildren. They are my pride and joy. I'm a great cook, baker, housekeeper, companion, errand runner, and appointment taker. I also love animals and children. I care for children and animals with the same care and love as if they were my own. I have a couple of years of paid experience, as well as volunteer experience in a variety of settings. I recently moved back to Lubbock after being gone for 5 years. Previously, I was a broadcast journalist for 10 years and an educator for 6 years. I'm willing to work short or long days, as my schedule varies.
