About Melina

To start I'd like to say that I enjoy being around kids and I believe that their innocence should be protected. My mom was a stay-at-home mother and was very much involved in my upbringing and if not for her I wouldn't be as well rounded as I am. I'm originally from Maryland, attended college in Bridgewater Virginia and received my BA in English. I was one of those kids who enjoyed learning and the wonderful social environment that school provided. I would be a good help to children who need help with homework. Creativity is also something very important to me and I believe every single person has their own outlet. Art in all its forms helps to bring out the very best in people and is essential for child development. I personally love crocheting, singing, photography, cooking, writing, etc. The list goes on! I'm respectful of privacy and believe I will love the energy and variation in the day to day activities dealing with kids. I hope to bring what I have to offer to the position
