About Melena

Hi! My name's Melena, and I'm 22 years old, and I'm a recent Syracuse University grad who just moved to NYC! I've worked with children of all ages (newborn to 13+), in multiple settings for about 10 years. From working at day care centers, nursery schools, as a tutor, as a volleyball coach, within the household or as a camp counselor, I truly love working with kids and getting to help families however I can! I'm currently looking for any part time babysitting opportunities in the NYC area. I'm primarily available on week nights, for early morning drop offs, or any time over the weekends! :) In my spare time, I work in fashion marketing, play beach volleyball, and love to try new restaurants! Throughout my life, working with kids has taught me so much about kindness, patience, empathy, and seeing at the world with a fun-loving way! It's such a rewarding experience to create a positive environment for a child to grow in. I'm new to Care, so please reach out with any questions!
