About Mele

Hello my name is mele I live in san leandro, ca ive been a caretaker since I was 15 years old my mother was a live in caretaker I was her reliever she taught me from companionship, to dressing a wound, cleaning and caring for bed sores, once I graduated high school I became a full time caretaker for my grandfather. I learned how to change a catheter to assisting my grandfather with daily needs helping get him up transferring to wheelchair, showering, cooking meals and taking out on errands. When my grandfather passed I was so use to helping that I started going to temp agencies to help clients in need. Ive worked in several doctor offices as front desk/ medical assistant. Im a full time coordinator at a pain management office I help worker comp patients deal with daily pain to help them transition back to the work field. I still look for part time or weekend caregiving gigs cause its my passion to help our senior community with daily living.
