About Melanie

I am a responsible, energetic psychology graduate student attending LIU. I am looking for local families that need a part-time sitter. I have class at night but am available in the mornings. I am the blanket-fort-making, cookie-baking, Disney-loving, made-up-game-playing babysitter that your children will ask for! I am willing to help with homework and cook if needed. I have years of experience caring for children of all ages, as well as special needs kids. Besides childcare, I have had jobs in special needs classrooms, a children's entertainment company, and I currently work for a psychological center. I love working with children and want to pursue a career doing so as a psychologist. I believe strongly in rewarding positive behavior and creating a safe space.
