About Meghann

I came to know great respect for the elderly at a young age. I was raised not only by my parents but also my maternal grandparents. We all lived in the same house. Through the years, my grandmother became more immobile and my grandfather developed Alzheimer's. By the time I was 24, I was caring for my grandparents and my great aunt and uncle who lived near by, and had also been working privately with other local seniors. From 2016 to 2019, I lost all four of my family members, but all in between the beautiful ages of 93 and 98. Having gone through their own health problems, they each taught me something different. Patience, comfort, kindness, how to be a gentle hand. I have enveloped those life lessons and brought them directly into my work. I started working privately in 2011 and have since worked with 10 beautiful people and families. I always say, the worst part of my job is when a client passes away, I always lose a friend. But I'm always grateful for the time I'm given with them.
