About Meghan

I have over 10 years of experience teaching reading and writing and have taught students on every level from Kindergarten to College! I have a Master's Degree in English Literature and an Elementary Teaching Certification. From early readers who are struggling to learn letter sounds to high school students who are struggling to write papers, I can help! I have extensive experience working with students who need extra attention, whether it's because the student fell behind academically or needs one on one help because of a disability. Most of all, I know how to cater lessons to a student's individual need and learning style in ways that are both goal-oriented AND fun! I am married, have two school-aged children, and two rescue dogs. I love to crochet, go to yoga class, and spend time outside with my family! I will not be able to tutor students either in my own home or in their homes. Students would need to meet me in a public location such as a public library.
