About Megan

Since the age of 10, I helped care for my three younger siblings (2 boys, 1 girl), who ranged in age from 1-5 years old, at the time. My parents worked full-time jobs and were 'on the go' quite a lot. So, I essentially became the second mother of the house at a young age. Over the next 10 years, I gained substantial experience in cooking, feeding, cleaning, bathing, playing, disciplining (if necessary), teaching, listening, driving (errands, sporting events, carpooling, etc.), adapting to adolescent growth. Now at the age of 25, I humbly admit to my significant contribution to their maturity and development. My real-life experiences have definitely made me maternal, patient, understanding, and loving at heart. I am also very proactive and take pride in working diligently. I am applying to Care.com to seek additional career opportunities. I currently work in marketing for a Biotech company (M-F, 9 a.m. -5:30 p.m.) and would like to find a Nanny/Sitter position on weekday morning (s) and/or night (s).
