About Mckenzie

I am a former Pre-K through 5th grade choral director and general music teacher with 5 years teaching experience in the public education sector. My education background centers infant and toddler developmental psychology with an emphasis on music-learning through play, an educational theory called Music Learning Theory established by educational philosopher Edwin Gordon. I hold two Bachelor's degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance from the University of South Carolina and a Master's degree in Arts and Culture Administration from the University of Denver. I also am a former private voice and piano instructor as well as Children's Arts Activities performer at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I am an extremely attentive, responsible, and patient caregiver with approximately 10 years of experience providing safe, arts-centered caregiving services for toddlers to teenagers.
