About Mckenzie

I am a speech language pathologist in Guilford County schools. I have a M. A. in speech language pathology from UNCG and a B. A. in Linguistics and Communication from UNC Chapel Hill. I am seeking part-time work as a tutor/virtual learning guide a couple afternoons a week. I have 3 years experience as a habilitation technician for children and teens with a variety of needs. I have experience working with individuals with autism, down-syndrome, and various developmental disabilities, as well as with typically developing children. My degrees have provided me experience in guided reading and language tutoring, and gives me the teaching skills to break down information in such a way to guide children through grade school subjects easily.
