About Maya

I am new to childcare, aside from babysitting on weekends as a teenager from time to time. In the past I have mostly worked in the service industry and am now beginning my journey towards working in the field of early childhood development and psychology. Working and connecting with children has always been something I've felt drawn to and feels like the area of life where I can truly serve a purpose. I'd describe my personality as calm, patient and creative I like working with kids because there is so much to learn from their curiosity, creativity and candid authenticity. I plan to eventually work in the field of childhood psychology and have a family of my own! In my spare time, I like to play music and sing. I also love to hang out my with dogs and my family.
