About Maya

Hello my name is Maya! I grew up in the Hudson Valley and absolutely love this beautiful region. I am a reliable, patient, and empathic person who has over 7 years of experience caring for toddlers, young children, and teenagers. Growing up I would always babysit my neighbors children, as well as my teachers children. I attended Manhattan College for my undergraduate degree. During my time at this college I worked with elementary, middle, and high school students mentoring, tutoring, and doing mindfulness meditation. I now attend Bard College and am getting a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree. I love working with young people especially children. I am looking for a job that I can do while also getting my Masters degree.
