About Maya

Hi there! I have a flexible schedule, my own car, am fully vaccinated, and am a graduate student in Social Work at UCLA. I have many years of experience with pets and am available for housekeeping and driving. I've been working with kids for 10 years. I have extensive experience with kids as a camp counselor, educator, and social worker. I love working with kids because they teach me something new every time! I love how they broaden my perspective about the world and make me feel hopeful and joyful. In my spare time, I like to read, go for runs, hang out with my cat, go hiking, and do ceramics. I care deeply about child empowerment, creativity, and safety. I'm committed to creating spaces of care and learning for children.
