About Maya

Hey everyone! My name is Maya, and I recently graduated from Western with a behavioral neuroscience degree. I have hopes of becoming a pediatric PA and I am waiting to hear back from schools on that front. My past few jobs have been working in healthcare, and I'm starting to experience some burnout in the field so I would love to take a break and work as a nanny again. I have worked from Care. com. before and gotten connected to some amazing families. I love to play outside with kids, rain or shine, and get involved in all sorts of activities (while providing safe boundaries of course). I have experience working with children 2 months old all the way up to 18 years. I also volunteer with Skookum kids, a foster support group in the Bellingham area, which means I have annual continuing education requirements to meet with them.
