About Maxine

I'd describe my personality as honest, reliable, and caring. I like working with kids because it's very rewarding to see them grow up and accomplish different goals. I love to see them reach milestones ! I'm looking for a job that provides stability. I started working with children immediately after graduating college with my bachelor's in elementary education. I was a New York Department of education teacher for 8 years for pre-K- Middle school children. I am a mother to a 20-year-old college student. I also have experience working with newborn to toddler aged children. In my spare time, I like to go to the movies, play basketball, and listen to music. I also enjoy reading and going on relaxing walks. One thing you should know about me is I love reading to children ! My skills include putting children to bed, communicating with kids, and ensuring their safety.
