We hired Maureen to spend mornings with my mother who had stage 5 Alzheimers that advanced over the time she was cared for by Maureen. Maureen was a Godsend in our lives. She was all of the hoped for, punctual, professional, kind, but then went far above and beyond in her attentive loving care to my mom. My mother did not like or trust anyone and Maureen was able to create a secure beautiful bond in just 2 visits to my mother. She always made my mom feel like a girlfriend was coming for coffee rather than a caregiver coming to take care of her. Maureen assisted my mother with complete grace in the bathroom, made my mom beautiful breakfasts and coffee, would soak her hands and clean her nails, all the while chatting and loving her in a way that took away the embarrassment of my moms inability to do these things for herself. Maureen also was a wealth of knowledge ( always offered in a gentle and helpful manner), teaching me what supplies would make toileting easier, adding grab bars to help my mom feel independent rather than being forced up and out of the wheel chair, and made clothing suggestions that allowed my dad to assist her with less frustration. She was completely trustworthy with medications in the house and greatly improved my moms quality of life. I would recommend her to any and everyone! Wish I had know her when I had infants as I would have trusted them completely to her care. ( And I was crazy won't leave my babies with anyone lady!) There is not a better caregiver out there. Hire her.
