Hi! I have many years of experience working with the elderly. Being warm and positive will help your elderly family member feel safe and cared for. Here is a bit of my experience I first cared for my grandmother for over two years until she was admitted to Cambridge convalescent home at the beautiful age of 100 years old. After I took over allfor my father for a couple of years. He had terminal Lung Cancer. Handled medication, complete care - hospice nurses came in. Another parent became ill- my stepdad he suffered from MS. This horrific disease invaded his 85-year-old body. Full care and medication distribution- hospital bed then hospice care helped me For over two years now I have cared for my mother. Many falls, injuries and her Doctors are concerned with the amount of ammonia was nested in her failing brain, due to her excessive alcoholism her entire life. I want each and every person to be cared for and handled gently. Their Dignity is first & foremost
