About Mary

Hi there! My name is Mary! I do not currently have a college degree but I am currently a student at Vanderbilt University double-majoring in Elementary Education and Sociology. For the past six years, I was employed full time at a daycare where I taught all ages from 6 weeks old to 13 years old. I spent almost 2 hours a day, helping elementary schoolers with their homework and I am comfortable with Common Core + other curriculums. Most recently, I tutored a 1st, 3rd, and 6th grader over zoom for all of their classes. I have also worked to teach a 1st grade how to read in the past year (also over zoom). I am DCF certified (40 hours) and I have my Child Development Associates with a specification in ages 3-5 years old. I am also CPR certified and experienced in working with children with special needs! (As of March 28th, 2021, I will be fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine!)
