About Mary

Hi! I have been watching and raising children for most of my life. I used to watch up to 11 kids in the summer when my own , 4 boys and a girl, were young and 2-3 extra throughout the school year. In high school, I worked at Willow Creek Church as a toddler room leader on Wednesday nights and as a before-school sitter/playmate for Lincoln Elementary in Palatine. I babysat on weekend evenings all through middle and high school, for a child in MI when I was in college and also for a family in Colorado a few mornings a week and an evening on the weekend. I am 51 now and have just completed my bachelor's in early childhood/elementary education degree and have also worked as a 2s teacher in Northbrook. I live in Barrington Area. I recently also was a long-term 1st grade substitute in Palatine to cover a maternity leave. Since I haven't found a teaching job, I thought I should also look at being a full-time nanny. Thanks, Mary
