About Mary

I am a recently retired children's librarian. My professional life included reading books and leading music and dance with young children. I always bring books to my job. While I enjoyed performing for groups, there is something special about putting a child on my lap and sharing that time. I also love sharing music. I have a long playlist of children's songs on my phone and more in my head. I am active and love the outdoors. Most of my experience with children has been at the public library. I also taught three years. I have also worked with a nanny service that provided backup childcare. I have experience with lots of different ages and situations.
