I work in the long term care field and am looking for some part-time, early evening hours a few nights a week. I have experience with dementia and have the understanding of what it takes to care for someone struggling with this disease. I love listening to the elderly and their stories, spending time doing what they like to do; playing cards or games, etc. I am very hands on and am looking to enhance an elders quality of life as well as provide some peace of mind for a family that has a loved one who needs some help.

Maryellen works here at Charlwell House in admissions. She is a kind and courteous employee. She interacts very well with our residents here at Charlwell. She is always willing to help residents or staff out when she can. She is always positive with our residents and staff. She hosts a monthly breakfast for our community here at Charlwell. She also does a number of community events at senior housing, senior centers, etc. I would highly recommend her for a position. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
