About Maryellen

I have always loved elders. My grandmother lived with me growing up and I was very close to her and cared for her until she passed. I consider this experience to be one of the biggest blessings in my life. My first job as a young girl was in a nursing home too. That was all a long time ago and I have worked, in my adult life, as a social worker with other vulnerable populations which I enjoyed immensely as well but at this time in my life I am truly loving caring for elders. I started doing elder care in August 2017 and I have found so much fulfillment and joy in this work. The level of care is different for each person and I am eager to adapt to each person's needs with care and respect. I also understand I am supporting the family as well. I like to establish a natural atmosphere and enjoy preparing meals and making it peaceful, jovial and natural.
