About Mary

My intrigue with young children and the elderly prompted me to study child development and gerontology in college. While home with my own young children, I began a career in journalism, eventually working for the South Bend Tribune and the University of Notre Dame. Another chapter in my life drew me back to caring for people at both ends of the life cycle. It is a privilege to know a young child and an elderly person. I wish to assist young families and those with eldercare needs. I am a retiree myself with the time, health, strength and energy to contribute to the well-being of others.
