About Mary

I'd describe my personality as engaging, dependable, and creative! I like working with kids because I know how important having a positive role model is for kids in their adolescence. Working with kids has allowed me to create engaging and enjoyable activities that keep the days exciting for everyone! I have a passion for teaching! I'm looking for a job that will be a good fit for me, the kids, and the parents! I am very flexible/adaptable to the busy and ever changing schedules life has to offer. I started working with kids when I was a senior in high school. I love kids of all ages! I am a big all-season outdoors person. I love to hike, swim, ski - anything outside is for me! My favorite is hiking various peaks in the fall season and taking photos of the foliage. I am very good at conflict resolution for children. I have a compassionate and redirective approach that I have found a lot of success in. My skills include patience, active listening, and observation skills.
