About Marlinda

Hi, I am Marli. I was a preschool educator (ages 18 months to 5 years) in Santa Fe, NM from 2018 to 2021. I then nannied for 3 families (children at start date were 4 weeks, 4 months and 18 months old) in Taos, NM from 2021 until spring of this year when I took a break from working to have my son, who is 6 months old now. I am looking to go back to childcare. My ideal situation would be 2-3 days a week nannying for a family who would allow me to bring my son so that I can continue to breastfeed him. For early childhood, my pedagogical philosophy steers toward the gentle emotional regulation guidance from caregivers, the child learning through play, and interaction with the natural world and other people in their life. I am inspired by the educational styles of Reggio Emilia and Montessori.
