About Marlee

I want to work with kids because advocating and supporting children is something that is very important to me and I want to help them in any way possible. I am also looking for a job that supports their employees and listens to them if they are struggling. Most of my availability is after the time of 4, so a job that can accommodate after school work would be preferred. I started working with kids when I was 19. I have worked with children who have developmental disabilities, autism (verbal and non-verbal), ADHD, and many other mental health and physical disabilities. I also have siblings who are 6-8 years younger than me that I helped watch over while my parents worked their full time jobs. My skills include being able to figure out compromises, knowing how to resolve crisis situations through de-escalation, and being an active listener. I am also capable in teaching proper boundaries, coping skills, communication skills.
