About Marjorie

I am a lifelong learner with multiple degrees. My strength as a tutor is grounded in empathy and meeting a person where they are, bringing an optimistic and encouraging attitude and treating people with respect. Subjects in which I am especially strong include English language arts, English literature and composition, science with an emphasis in biology, anatomy and physiology (but I have studied organic and non-organic chemistry and physics as well), social sciences (psychology, sociology, child development), Microsoft office products and general computer and internet usage. I can provide math tutoring through algebra as well as basic statistics. I am CPR certified (infant - adult), have recent clearances: PA criminal record check, PA child abuse, FBI. I have two reliable cars, am a non-smoker and fully vaccinated. Non-smoking homes only. I'm comfortable with pets and working with individuals of all ages. I look forward to hearing from you!
