About Marissa

Growing up around lots of animals inspired me to work with ones of all shapes and sizes. I am comfortable with animals that have behavioral difficulties, plus I have helped dogs & cats that have health issues that required injections, eye drops, & oral medication. A few summers back I volunteered at Mission Wolf Sanctuary, where I fed the wolves & interacted with the more socialized ones. I have a huge love for canines which led me to work at The Green Dog Wash & Camp Bow Wow. So I have experience clipping & dremmeling dog's nails, medicated/regular baths, deshedding, brushing teeth, cleaning ears, & drying dogs off. At the daycare, I would help keep the yard playful yet peaceful for up to 30 dogs at a time. I also have experience volunteering at a Wildlife Rehab where I worked with small mammals & many different types of birds. I also have worked with reptiles as well & other exotic pets. I look forward to working with your furry, scaly, & feathery friends!
