About Marissa

I started working with kids when I was 15 years old. I babysat for a wonderful family for about 1 year and some of my responsibilities were doing activities with the kids, light house work, taking them to the park, feeding and changing. Then I started working at an after school program which taught me a lot of other abilities, such as arts and crafts, gym activities, looking out for multiple children at a time, problem solving, etc.. In my spare time, I like to go on walks with my very old but adorable dog, hang out with family and friends and watch TV shows! One thing you should know about me is I am fluent in Portuguese and some spanish. And I intend to pursue child care or psychology as a profession in the future. My skills include problem solving, patience, activity planning, good communication skills, CPR certified, reliable, responsible, creative and caring.
