About Marissa

I am a teacher and would like to have a summer/weekend job as a nanny/tutor. In the summer I can be more flexible with hours and times, but during the school year I can do evenings and weekends. I have a bachelor's in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Special Education. I enjoy taking care of children and helping them experience their light bulb moment when learning. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, sensitive, and understanding. I like working with kids because I have enjoyed watching them connect and engage with learning. I started working with kids when I was a teenager as a babysitter. In college I worked as a tutor and as a babysitter.
