About Marisa

I created my first pet sitting business "My Petsitter," when I was 16 years old, and for 4 years I met many families, offering them peace of mind as their pets were fed, safe and happy. After many years of entrepreneurship, including yoga instruction and childcare, I decided to earn my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Oregon University. I recently graduate this June '23 and will soon begin my career as a therapist here in Ashland, Or. Now that I am in transition, I thought it would be a great idea to integrate my love for animal care into my life. I would be happy to make home visits, go for town walks, hikes, dog park visits, swims and even have a playdate with my gentle 13-year-old dog.
