About Marisa

Hi, I'm Marisa! I am an experienced childcare professional currently transitioning out of the field of Education. I have been a teacher for 6th-8th graders for 2 years, and prior to that I was a City Year Americorps Member in a Kindergarten classroom for 1 year. Working with children has been the most rewarding experience of my life and my goal is to continue that in a new capacity as a Babysitter and/or Nanny. I have babysitting experience with children from 6 months all the way up to teenagers. I am a fun and easygoing person, and have been praised in my professional career for the relationships I build with the children with whom I have worked. Despite my relaxed attitude, I have no problem sticking to routines and expectations set by parents. I would be a great fit for a family looking a fun, caring, and professional childcare expert. I'm very comfortable with dogs, but allergic to cats.
