About Marie

Hi there! My name is Wren (legal name Marie but everyone calls me Wren!) I am a certified teacher for grades PreK- 12th grade with a passion for making learning, life, and art accessible to all. My experience teaching has taught me how to communicate, have fun, and empathize with and support kids. I have worked with adults with disabilities through 2 work programs local to Philadelphia, one called Community Integrated Services and the other The Center for Creative Works. At these jobs, I was a Direct Support Professional. In these positions, I was responsible for assisting participants in the program with emotional and physical regulation, their day to day activities and needs, and acquainting them with their local community and job. I love having the opportunity to get to know individuals and how I can be of assistance in their day to day lives, as well as assisting them with achieving any personal goals or dreams!
