About Mariel

I'd describe my personality as kind, playful and caring. I like working with animals because they are pure hearted, adorable and fun. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to earn money while spending time with pets giving them the love and attention they deserve while their owner is away. I started working with animals since I babysitting in high school, when I had a two week long assignment with a couple of kids and a dog in the house. I continued caring for friends' pets when they were out of town, and eventually adopted my first cat (who recently passed away from cancer). In my spare time I like to visit museums, parks, or restaurants with friends or on my own. I also love reading, watching tv and catching up with friends and family back home. One thing you should know about me is I will love your pet as if it were my own. My skills include entertaining, cuddling, oral or topical medicine administration, cleaning litter, nail trimming, brushing and more.
