I have the following experience in caring for children over the last 15 years: 1. 8-month-old boy. I worked for a family from Spain by caring for their 8-month-old son for 2 years. 2. 1-month-old girl and her 11-year-old brother. I took care of this kids for 2 years while their parents went to work and sometimes on the weekends. 3. 7-month-old twin girls. Took care of until they turned 3. I taught them Spanish and other re-creative and artistic activities. My responsibilities ranged over the years to include feeding, changing diapers, bathing, putting child to sleep, working on their gross motor skills, talking to them at all times to develop language, helping the child transition into preschool. Parents have asked me to help improve Spanish speaking skills, thus I only speak to children in Spanish and strive to teach them new vocabulary every day. I am from Mexico and have a college degree majoring in theater. I like to use my passion for theater to engage kids in imaginative play.

Maria is AMAZING. She helped raise our girls for 2.5 years. Beginning at the age of seven months, our identical twin girls flourished under Maria's care. Her background in theatre was very apparent in how she interacted with them. They truly bonded with her. They loved imaginative, dramatic, and creative play with Maria, and she was great at doing arts & crafts with them, engaging them in physical activity (dance, outdoor games and the trampoline), working on gross/fine motor skills and Spanish vocabulary. Because of her, they're fluent in Spanish! Every day, she put the girls down for their nap; during naptime, she cleaned the house spotless - she kept all of our laundry clean and folded, their play area sanitary, floors swept and mopped, dishes washed and put away. Recently, we relocated to another state and unfortunately had to let Maria go. We wish we could've brought her with us. Maria is incredible and we miss her dearly. Whatever family ends up hiring her will truly be blessed
