About Maria

Hello! I have volunteered for a couple years in the past in an after school program tutoring elementary school kids, and one year tutoring algebra 1 privately for a family. I have also helped my younger siblings with homework for various subjects throughout the years, but primarily with math. I am patient and try to find different ways to explain concepts so that they are more easily understood. I can help with elementary to high school math and Spanish, as it was my first language and I speak it regularly with family and friends. Currently, I am available Monday through Thursday from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, and Sunday late morning to afternoon occasionally if necessary. Please feel free to contact me. I'd be glad to help. Maria Ortiz
