About Mariana

I have been a caregiver for a little more than a year now. I am comfortable caring for couples and dementia patients as well as seniors who just need companionship. I can set out medications, cook, clean, run errands, companionship, and limited transportation when necessary (I have a small, low-to-the-ground car that has proven difficult for seniors to get in/out of so I prefer to keep transportation as limited as possible). For the most part I enjoy simply being a companion for your loved ones. I love to play board games, go on walks, do crossword puzzles, knit/crochet, play bingo, and many other mentally/physically stimulating activities. I am not a nurse, so things like changing catheters/diapers are beyond what I am comfortable doing; however, I am experienced with hands-on and standby assisting bathing/showering when needed.
