About Maria Luisa

My name is Maria and I have been a nanny/teacher for more than 20 years. I have been a nanny in the Bay Area for the last 5 years. I love kids and really enjoy playing with them, making them healthy food and snacks, taking them to the park to play with other kids, arranging play dates, taking them to the library for story time and classes, or everything that will help them grow healthy and be happy! I always help the busy parents as much as I can. I help them washing the dishes, folding laundry for the whole family, and keeping the house organized. Prior to that, I was a preschool teacher at Sunshine Family Child Care Center in Sunnyvale for 1 year, taking care of kids ages 2-4 years old. Prior to that, I lived in my country of Peru where I had my own day care center for 3 years after being a preschool teacher for 12 years. As a teacher, I organized children's plays, folkloric dances and many others. I have two kids, both married and 2 grand kids (3rd on the way). I love art, singing, and dancing. I am CPR certified, and up to date on all of my immunizations. I am starting the process to become Trustline certified. I speak Spanish and English.
