About Maria

Hello! I'm a recent college graduate. I majored in Social Sciences and animal health with a minor in Spanish. I have a long term goal of becoming a veterinarian and committing my time to animals and people. Although, I do not have formal professional senior care experience. As a teenager I assisted in the hospice care of my great aunt. Some of my responsibilities included: helping with medication, personal Hygiene, diaper changing, and emotional support. I genuinely enjoy being around senior folks. They have valuable insights and can be wise mentors. I hope to be granted the opportunity to care for and provide emotional support for senior people
