I am from a big family and have grown up babysitting. I have a heart for kiddos, I love working with them! I have 20+ nephews and nieces (including a set of twins) that I have baby sat, ages ranging from new born to 15 yrs old. I was an Au pair in Germany for a year. I've worked at an elementary school in a special education class room, taught in a 2yr-olds classroom at a preschool, subbed in the infants, 1 yr. old and preschool classrooms. I took early childhood development classes all through high school along with CNA courses. I have volunteered at a youth camp for the past 16 summers. There are so many great things I could say about Mariah. We are a military family and Mariah came to live with myself and my 2 little boys while my husband was deployed. She amazed me continually with her patience and problem solving where the boys were concerned. She played with them and encouraged their creativity. They respected and obeyed her but also felt that she was their friend. When I had my 3rd child, a baby girl, Mariah was one of the only people I would leave all three children with for longer than an hour or two. She was always reliable, punctual, and honest. I don't trust many people with my children and I never once worried when my kids were with Mariah. We moved away and still miss her dearly. There will never be another quite like her in our lives.
