About Maria Elena

My name is Maria Elena (I go by Elena). In terms of elder care, I've occasionally taken care of my older sister and mother-in-law. Duties have included: meal preps, errands, light housework and companionship (playing card games, engaging conversations, watching their favorites shows etc) Most of my experience have been with children. I've raised 6 children of my own and now have the joy of nurturing my five grandchildren. I also have 25+ years of professional education experience, teaching K-8, as well as assisting homeschool families as an independent study teacher. I'm looking to help out local families with childcare or eldercare. I can do anything from school drop off, light meal prep, homework help, shopping and errands.
