About Maria

Hi my name is Maria. I have many years of experience with children as a mother of 2. Professionally, I have worked in childcare between 2-3 years. I am CPR certified and Spanish-fluent. My latest experience was with a lovely 5-year-old girl whose family I began to work with when she was a newborn. In this role my duties included ensuring child's safety at all times, assist with hygiene and changing diapers as necessary, keeping interactive areas clean throughout the day, preparation nutritious meal and snack, and maintaining contact with child's parents and contacting them in the case of an emergency. I also provided safe transportation for pick-up/drop-off at extracurricular/social activities. My approach is to treat every family and their child with empathy, patience, kindness and respect. I work along with the family/primary caregiver to understand and address the child and family's unique needs. I have a clean background and driving record as well as my own car. Thank you.
